Separation of Lactoferrin from Milk
Iontosorb SHP LF and Iontosorb MGG SHP LF
A sorbent for separation of lactoferrine from milk was made by a new modified technology of → Iontosorb SHP poduction. In any case where magnetic separation is proper to remove a sorbent from milk, Iontosorb MGG SHP LF is the best choice. It was developed for this purpose. In comparison with classic sorbents for magnetic separations in biochemical applications → Iontosorb MG, this magnetic sorbent for lactoferrine separation (Iontosorb MGG SHP LF) has a higher magnetic force. Lactoferrine can be best separated in batch way. Also low pressure chromatography can be used. Efficiency of Lactoferine separation from milk is for Iontosorb SHP LF and Iontosorb MGG SHP LF higher then 80 % and lactoferrine purity is higher then 95 %.
